2008 Prom Night Review

Prom night is a remake of a 1980 slasher film. The 2008 Prom Night version has a different story than the original so its good to see something new then to sit threw a movie that you already have seen and that you can watch at home for free.
The 2008 version is about Dona Keppel (Brittany Snow) family was murdered by a teacher that got obsessed with Dona and killed her family trying to get to her. But the killer got a resisted and went to jail. But now, 1 year later Dona is living with her Aunt and Uncle and this year its Donna's prom. The killer know its her prom and escapes from a maximum security prison and then tries to get to her threw her friends at her Prom night.
I thought Prom night was a very good film. But to be more of a realistic slasher film it needed more blood. The acting was fair. The movie did have a few twists, but to me Prom Night doesn't fall really in to the horror category it falls more into the thriller/suspense category.But it is still a good horror flick that I really enjoyed and I think that everyone can enjoy. I recommend this movie to all horror movie fans except the picky ones because they are going to complain about this movie.I give Prom Night4 out of 5 stars!This is Sam telling you watch this movie if you ever get the chance!
